Remote handling

Regarding the activities to be performed, the following will be taken on:

a) Testing, certifications, and homologations: The infrastructure, personnel, methods, and procedures of the laboratory will allow the performing, testing, certification, and homologation of equipment and systems that have been used in areas with high levels of radiation. Moreover, the laboratory will collaborate with international entities in charge of regularization methods and criteria for testing such systems.

b) Research and development of technology in remote manipulation: Having the objective of contributing with new solutions, tools, and technology to perform remote manipulation tasks in nuclear fusion, the area of remote manipulation will do a continuous research and development on the involved technologies. These independent developments through patents and technological results will be applied in future research and development projects to be done in the laboratory.

c) Provision of infrastructure and installations: The area of remote manipulation will have a state-of-the-art installation. In some aspects, it will be unique and adequate to evaluate and test the procedure and equipment that other companies or institutions are developing before their real application. This way, it becomes of great interest for nuclear fusion. Those companies will be a complementary way of financing Technofusión. Additional earnings will come from hiring services, since the singular features of the installation will allow it to adapt to the requirements for specific evaluations, tests, and training.
